Location: 15th of May City.

Service Zones: Serving the Southern and Western zones of Cairo Governorate, in which all wastes collected are treated, and the final reject is disposed of.

Team: About 220 employees to provide 24/7 operation coverage.

Capacity: During the period from February 2020 to October 2021, approximately 4,000 tons of waste were received and treated on daily basis at the facility to produce compost and RDF. All wastes collected were treated and the final reject (waste residue) is transported and disposed of at the sanitary landfill. The facility is equipped with complete treatment lines, where processes include sorting, screening, shredding, air separation, and biological treatment. The project landfill is a sanitary landfill with lining, leachate collection system and gas collection system.
